You may have heard that one of the co-founders of Home Depot, Bernie Marcus, expressed his support for Trump's reelection and the left reacted predictably. Somehow snowflakes who have never swung a hammer think that a boycott would hurt a home improvement store.

Anyway, they seemed to have struck a nerve.

We'll, I've patronized both Lowe's and HD quite a bit this year.
Honestly, I'm done with Lowe's. In my town, HD gives superior customer service and does as well as any on prices.
Besides the "In store" experience, the on line shopping is nicer at HD too. They even load the heavy crap I ordered online and picked up 1/2 hour later.

Lowe's in my experience is far more expensive than H.D. for the very same stuff.

I've never experienced poor service in H.D.

Actually I have to jump through hoops at Lowe’s for the discount. At HD I only need to show the word “veteran” on my DL. Lowe’s also tends to rely on self scanners more, which I refuse to use.

I knew there was a reason I preferred Home Depot. Couldn’t tell you why. Maybe it was because you can take your dog in with you.

Maybe it is because they do not post 06/07 and seeing people walk around armed once in a while makes me happy.

But this story has ensured I will keep going back and always look there first for what ever tool or material I may need for a project.
