Carter had good intentions, and I believe even honorable, but was ineffectual and ill-equipped for the job of being president of our country.

QFT. He was even highly intelligent. There was much to admire about the man but he didn't have the personality type to be President.

Give me a man or woman:

• as intelligent and honorable as Carter,
• with the foreign policy smarts of Bush the Elder,
• 85% of the IDGAF of Trump, and
• The overall political philosophy of the first Roosevelt and

I'd vote for them to be President for as long as they're willing to do the job.

I could throw a few more onto that list but I think that's a good start.
