So I am thinking I am going to take the plunge.

I will most likely buy the Osprey 45. Here is my conundrum...What to put it on.

I have an HK45 but will need get a barrel and sights.

Or buy a new gun. I am thinking either an FN 45 tac or Sig Tac Op.

I almost bought a used Mark 23 but the sale fell through :(

    Thoughts?

The mark 23 is a brick. A very cool brick . . . But a brick nonetheless. Plus you have to get the knights can if you get the mk23.

The HK45 is pretty much everything, performance wise, the MK23 was built to be, and considerably more economically sized and ergonomic. That being said, an Osprey on a MK23 would just be plain awesome. ;)

I got a threaded barrel from HK parts and slaped that baby on. I am just waiting for the stamp. I have been pending since July so it should be any day now...

    I wish i had a mark 23. I love that gun

    Guess what came today

I quickly got over picked it up, then headed to the range.

It was awesome... Not only am I hooked, my dad who was highly skeptical was interested. I need to take it out again, it appeared to go to the left a couple of inches on impact. Not sure if its me or the gun.

Assuming you're right handed, your trigger finger may have been too deep and pushing gun to the left.
