This day in history advertisement

Is it just me or does this advertisement make it almost impossible to log in on an iPhone?

Pops up on my computer, but I don't have any problem logging on. Plus you can close the player if you want.

On my computer, when I first open the link to TGT, in the bottom RH corner a player starts showing a video of "This Day in History" I just close the player and hit the login button and it's gone!

On iPhone there seems to be no way to shut the advertisement down. On the desktop I can "X" it but not on the iPhone. This probably generates money but is a true PITA. It also locks the screen so it is almost impossible to log on.

Install an ad filter on your phone. Makes browsing TGT a lot more bearable.

Now if we could only get more bandwidth for those sluggish attachments.

I do have an issue with the "ad" area extending past the right side of the screen area by about 80%.

I’ve only accessed this site on my iPad (hence all of my typos due to autocorrect) and I’m not seeing the advertisements yall are speaking of

I do see sponsored ads, but they are way on the right side, only about 1/4 or 1/3 of my screen. Certainly not in the way or obtrusive.

As noted, if you are not logged in you will see the ad. Then hard to log in depending I guess on device used.
