The idea I was responding to was about an idea making a face to face meet required before participating in posting classifieds.
I brainstormed that, mulled it over, concluded it was a bad idea, and rejected the whole thing. All in the same post.

I thought that would be sufficient to ensure the idea wouldn't be discussed any further.

    Silly me. :)

I don't lock my doors or remove the keys from my vehicles because I carry a loaded pistol about the house with me. See how points of view can be different? To me 'social interaction' includes face to face.

I'm not saying you're wrong, I'm expressing I don't comprehend your point of view.

Unlike what is being insinuated by many posters...
I do not think that random person “A” who wants an online only forum experience equals a person who is anxious and socially dysfunctional.

    Does that help?

I find this thread to be somewhat amusing. Here many are upset that someone "bent" the rules, but found that it was "an unsatisfactory outcome", but the kid with the dreadlocks, who did not want to follow school dress code was congratulated for finding a way around the rules. While the situations may not be as of the same scope as far as safety is concerned, both found ways to bend the rules. Either administer "rules" equally or not.
As far as gun trades go, it is up to you to decide what is safe or unsafe.

Okay with me, didn't really feel that strongly about it one way or another.
