Thoughts on Spike's Tactical AR's?

I'm thinking of getting a Spikes Tactical mid-length ($800) and opting for a Troy flip up rear sight, BCM charging handle, and maybe their nickel boron BCG

I will probably get a Daniel Defense Omega 9.0" rail later down the road and an EOTech, Bushnell, or Aimpoint for optics

Any comments on this AR or suggestions for a better alternative? Thanks

I would get a spikes lower, and then slap a bcm upper on it

Thanks everyone. I'm going to call them on monday to ask how much it would cost to swap stock parts for a Troy rear sight, BCM charging handle, nickel boron BCG, and nickel boron hammer or just the entire trigger set.

I called Spike's Tactical and I must say their customer service is awesome. I'm getting the ST-15 Mid-Length with the NiB BCG, NiB trigger group, BCM GF charging handle, and Troy flip-up rear sight. With all the add-ons it comes out to about $950 shipped.


As with the Colt 6920 and the BCM M4, Spike's meets all the "desirable features" on this M4 comparison chart.

Cool sounds like you got a good setup. I have a 14.5inch BCM middy and after shooting this one I am not sure I will ever own a car lenth again... that isnt a SBR
