Time travel has been one of those science fiction subjects that has always fascinated me. One of the staple subjects of a plot for SyFy movies, TV and books. Watched this movie on NetFlix last night. Pretty damn good movie. Even had some pretty good humor in it as well.

But is time travel really science fiction? Is it even really possible? In some ways, I do think it does exist. Example: Centuries ago, it would take weeks and months to make a trip, where now we can make those same trips in hours or days instead.

Have you ever felt like you've been somewhere or done something before, but know/think that you haven't.

Some call it Deja Vu. But maybe you've actually been there or done that something. Like wearing the same clothes , being in the same place but think/know your doing it for the first time.

I haven't watched it. I loath Ryan Reynolds so much that I boycott anything whatsoever to do with him. He is such a flaming libtard. I will not support his ultra liberal views by supporting him - I wish y'all would do likewise.

Deja Vu is real thing. And there are medical and scientific explanations for it. Way more complicated than I'm capable of explaining.

Einstein theory is that the faster an object moves time slows down. Mass also increases. So theoretically mass would be infinite at the speed of light and time would stop. What happens if you go faster than the speed of light? Beyond my pay grade.

I believe in a multiverse if time travel was real. I don’t think a time line stops, is damaged by, or effected at all by going back. I think you would just exist in a new timeline. Any action like meeting yourself, killing your own grandpa, would just alter the time line you’re changing and you would still exist.

I don’t think man should play with time travel. If God wanted us messing with time we would have figured it out completely. I don’t think it’s wise to provoke what could come of trying to mess with time.

I agree. Lots of things mankind should not attempt to alter.

Like attempting to make a virus WORSE!

Imagine what would happen if an engineered virus like that was accidentally released from a laboratory and spread around the world...

    Oh, wait...

It's like deja vu all over again!

Kinda off the OP topic, but I've been reading about the Voyager1 and 2 space probes which were launched in 1977.......still communicating information back to us. They have both left our solar system and are in interstellar space but no where near leaving our milky way galaxy.......

These were the one's with the gold plated discs containing information about our civilization and where we are located in the milky way galaxy (probably not such a good idea)......

One thing I read or heard some years ago about time travel, and I have no idea as to the science of factual basis, but that time travel to the future is possible, but not possible going back in time.

    Thoughts?

The Germans were supposedly researching it during WWII. The Nazi Bell. It was never recovered after the war and nobody knows what happened to it
It landed in Pennsylvania a few years later.

    Or so georgio says.

I think I remember an effect mention in orbit for example. I believe time moved slower for an astronaut. Don’t quote me on it I’m sure I’m forgetting a lot.
