    41P basically makes everyone on a trust go the individual route for an item. So if you have a trust, everyone still has to go down for CLEO signoff and all of that mess associated with the individual route. You still have to do the Form 4, submit trust, then a 4473... but now you would also have the CLEO sign and all that other hassle added into the mix.

    Ok, if it were to pass.

    But currently, is what I said not correct?

    (Hopefully I'm not misunderstanding your post/question) For suppressor/sbr/sbs stuff...

    Right now, a trust submission is just a trust and Form 4 mailed off to get a stamp back.
    An individual is a CLEO signoff, finger prints, photo, and a Form 4 still goes out to the ATF for approval.

    The difference is what paperwork goes along with the Form 4, but either way the Form 4 gets filed.

    There are some strange rules regarding post-sample MGs, transfer to a law enforcement agency, and things of that nature, but that's a whole different beast.
