Hum seems to me they would have been better off of they left the female attendent with her chl keep her gun. Foolish that they can't especally since a CHL holder. Yes, they're cops. TSA agents aren't authorized to handle firearms. Apparently, airport cops are authorized but equally incompetent at it. How hard is it to push the cylinder release button forward and swing the cylinder out?

They are actual police with the authority to be armed in sterile areas, yes.
