Took the CHL class today

Just took the CHL class today in Plano and it was a great class. HIGHLY recommend Bullet Trap. Will have to go back on Monday to do quals and fingerprinting, but why I was there, finally figured out what gun I am going to be purchasing. Taurus 24/7 PRO Compact in 40.

Let us know how long it takes for you to get your CHL after mailing it in. Folks are always wondering what the current wait time is!

And if you haven't found it already, this copy of Texas Concealed Handgun Laws from the DPS web site is an excellent reference document. As a (future) CHL holder, you should be very familiar with its contents!

Lastly, but most importantly, congratulations on taking this important step in exercising your Second Amendment rights!
