Cut a 6mm creed barrel for my surgeon 591 recently and barely got it broken in before heading to Nebraska for a prs match. Loaded sone new 115 Dtac up and trued the bc out to 320. They had a side bet going at the zero range. I jumped straight from zero to the mile target. It was a 5 shot trial with a closest to center wins with no coaching from spotters. Went 4 for 5 (1 was just off view of the camera but was a hit) with closest just 3" off of center. Ended up beating out several magnums to win the side pot. Took home a nice rifle case for the win.

Very nice .Those Dtac bullets are very interesting. I've seen them on their website before, but never really looked at them that closely since I don't have a 6mm rifle.

They are nice. These are the new rebated boat tail design. They are pointed to the point they look like a fmj. Here's a couple pics a 115 next to a 105rdf and then the meplat points (L to R) Dtac, rdf(also pointed from factory and normal berger 105 hybrid

    Congratulations.
At my age, I can't see that far and I would need an Uber lift to get down range to the targets.

Talk to me about your loading data. Chamber pressure, head clearance, muzzle velocity, etc.
I load my 6.5 ammo with Hornady 140 gr ELD bullets. I get 1/2" five shoot groups at 100 yards.
Regrettably, my only experience with longer distances was the 600 yard ranges in basic training in 1968.

I have no idea on chamber pressure but know it's fairly safe as it will pass a water test in my gun.

I bump shoulders .001-.002" on all rifle rounds snd this one is no different.

115 dtac loaded to 0.020 off the lands and are currently running 3050fps. Standard deviation was a touch high on this ammo at 13 but it was a mix of once fired and factory brass. New brass gets flasholes deburred, case mouth run over expander if needed, case mouths chamfer and debur. Fired brass is bumped then necks sized for .003 neck tension.
