Anthony Reyes Vazquez deputized a ‘VIP group’ who weren’t expected to do police work, prosecutors said.

Fun story. The Chief of Police for a tribal police department not recognized by the state of Calipornia or the Feds was selling badges / creds to LA residents / Hollyweirdos for $5,000 - $100,000 a pop, so they could carry a gun as a "special" police officer. The prosecutor refused to name those who were buying the badges (go figure, turds protect turds)
The Top Cop was also convicted in 1992 of felony drug charges, so he shouldn't even have been a cop, and the 24 guns he owned were all illegal. So many questions here, so few answers. No surprises.
