After 3 glocks and simply not being able to get comfortable with any of them, i hope no more good deals roll into my path . Traded it for Springfield XD-45. Im very happy with the trade. I love the XD lineup... They match my grip pretty darn good and to be honest, I think they are far better looking for a block of plastic

Going for my CHL class tomorrow and think i may just use the new XD Who needs practice

The last 2 pics are with the Lum-Tec (same brand as the watch) powder mixed with Clear Nail Polish for my Poor Mans night sights... lol

Congrats. I just can't get used to the XDs. They just feel too top heavy for me. Glad you are happy though. Those are some damn good pictures!

Thats a pretty bold statment. Im going to order some of that and give it an honest shot. I have a hard time believing that the V10 is stronger. Im a big watch guy with many many of them, and the lume of watches is something i truly enjoy. If this was so much brighter it would be used on a watch and ive never heard of it... although no way do i expect to know everything, id just be surprised if its stronger than the Lum-Tec powder

(I see this was also discussed on the other forum I frequent - corvetteforum.com)

So does that stuff really last anywhere close to 24hrs? If so, that's pretty sweet! I may have to try some of that stuff out. Heck, I may have to get one or two of those Lum Tec watches, they look pretty nice. ;)

About how long will the glow last on the paint? Any idea if you'd have to reapply the paint after a certain period of time? Years? Months?

Also I was talking to one of my 2nd amendment enthusiast buddies and he was telling me that the Lum Tech stuff has radium in it... hence radioactive and especially for people wearing it concealed agaisnt perhaps a sweaty stomach would cause certain unfortunate side effects... IE sterility...

    Any thoughts on this?

And that laptop or CPU you sit in front of for hours. . .or that TV. . . . or the sun (that bugger) . . .or the lights. . . . .or that cell phone. Going to the doctor's office is a BAD idea. They give you all kinds of medicine that is just plain bad for you. Barium drinks, X-rays, CT scans, MRI's. All kinds of toxic chemicals, like asparin and tylenol.

IMHO, unless it comes with some radiation warnings, then I simply wouldn't worry about it.

PS- very nice looking gun. I think I'd like to try an XD one of these days, but I'm not giving up my Glock just yet. Awesome looking watch too.
