Does the brand really matter
I have a wood burning and 3 tablet burning (large, medium & small) stovesI have a few. Brands can kind of matter, but not much. I bought some cheap Red Camp or something brass knock offs and had some titanium ones. Used them in the military as they burn dull/tactile vs a true open flame.
Lots of fuel options from yellow bottlers of Deet sold at most gas stations in America, to 90% rubbing alcohol sold at most Walmart’s in America, white fuel/ethanol. Don’t plan to cook a meal with one, but 8-16oz of hot liquid or something small can be cooked on them.
I like them and folding wood burning stoves that burn of biomass leaves, trees, etc. but you get smoke, flames and slower cook time, however fuel tends to be easy to find or make.

I try to use what I have at the time and place I'm at, i.e. If no wood can be found I use the tablet stove, but they aren't safe for indoor use as is the wood burner, so I'm looking for something I can use indoor or enclosed area
I'm new to alcohol stoves, so I will have to learn how to use one
