    Thanks to all who replied it is appreciated. I'm slowly beginning to change from Tn. resident to Tx. intend to select an area and complete the process by thistime next year. This is our 5th season in the valley. Currently we are considering the S.E. part of the state but want to gather more info. Thanks again Curly 45

    As stated, your TN license is good here in TX, but to avoid confusion and to ensure that you're familiar with Texas law, I'd suggest that you apply for you TX CHL fairly soon. It could take a while.
