With my old tow vehicle, I used the Equal-i-zer Hitch to tow a 6,000 lb loaded travel trailer with 815 lb tongue weight. Never had a problem with weight distribution or sway.

I have replaced the tow vehicle, and am thinking of going with the Reese Dual Cam Strait Line rig or Blue Ox Sway Pro.

No problem sticking with the Equal-i-zer since it worked well, but it was noisy as hell.

Open to other makes and models.

Hitch must have sway control and weight distribution.

    Any comments or suggestions?

I only used equalizer. Agree on noisy but stable in high winds and meeting semis on two lanes.
    I'd go with it again.

Whatever equalizer hitch Tractor Supply carried years ago worked fine for me for many miles. If I wasn't pulling a gooseneck now I would still be using one.

I didn't need it for the tongue weight. I needed it to keep my long heavy trailer from wearing out receiver hitches. Noise is the least of my concerns. The proper application of grease helps quiet them down.
