    Fluting a bolt?

    Can you trick out a bolt or do you have to have one custom made? I saw a guy at the range with some type of spiraled bolt.

    I love working and moding my own weapons, but something like that I'd leave to someone with a little more expertise.

    It's referred to as "fluting" I believe, and a few factory rifles come that way. I assume a smith could do it, but it's not something I would wanna tackle.
