Okay folks. I'm just a bit confused

I've seen Docter optics and Trijicon Docter optics when looking into reflex sights.

I looked up Docter optic on Wiki and it says it was a German optic company, etc.
But it doesn't say anything about it being bought by Trijicon. Are these two different things? Did Trijicon buy Docter and incorporate their products into their product line?

Just to close this out for anybody who finds it in the future.....

I requested info on this from Trijicon and they replied.....
"Thank you for contacting Trijicon Inc. We were a distributor of Docter as we were using them on a number of our ACOG optics. Docter is a manufacturer of numerous optics based in Germany and is still offering these even though we have discontinued their use and distribution. The RMR is our own sight manufactured at our Michigan facility that is becoming very popular."

CDNN has the Docter reflex optic (almost positive it is the one that was being mounted on the ACOGs by our boys oversees for CQB purposes). Running $239. Not sure how it compares to the Trijicon RMR, but the RMR runs about $500. Really thinking about getting one of the Docters.[FONT]
