I thought for sure it would take awhile longer, but the latest budget deal funds everything the socialist democrats want. Including Planned Parenthood, Sanctuary Cities, and Obamacare. It has poison pills included to stop the border wall.
He sure folded quick. I'll opine that they promised to "do something in return" down the road. But democrat leadership are long on words and willing to lie. Another sad day in whats left of America.
My thanks to RINO Paul Ryan who worked hard for this.

He's a New York Democrat first.
He became Republican to get elected, saying all the things we wanted to hear.
On what issue will he not reverse course?

I'll not be one iota shocked to see him slither into bed with some gun-control types over the course once it's of benefit to he or his cronies................

    Helotes!
Honestly, I am beginning to think he is a Democrat plant. The news this morning was thoroughly disappointing, it's like Obama is still president...

I said even during the election when I was fully backing him against Hillary he was the least conservative candidate on the ticket.

This isn't really a big surprise.

He hasn't signed this yet, has he? Let's wait and see what happens.

But yes, it is very disappointing that the GOP is not charging full steam ahead on things they've been promising for the past 8+ years. If you really want to puke, read what Shumer said about it:

"The bill ensures taxpayer dollars aren't used to fund an ineffective border wall, excludes poison pill riders, and increases investments in programs that the middle-class relies on, like medical research, education, and infrastructure," Schumer said in a statement. "Early on in this debate, Democrats clearly laid out our principles. At the end of the day, this is an agreement that reflects those principles."

Yeah, because handing Hillary the White House would have been much more in our favor...

Amen. I didn't want him in there, but if one doesn't think that having Gorsuch on the Supreme Court isn't a huge win, you've got short-term thinking.

You know darn well that if anyone criticized Trump at all during the election, the ass kissers would have come out of the woodwork to defend him. Hilary doesn't have anything to do with that. He could have had a 100% chance of winning throughout the entire election and they would have still been kissing that ass. Stop trying to use Hilary as an argument against criticizing Trump. It's a weak argument at best.

There's a BIG difference between voting for Trump just because you hate the other person, and attacking anyone who says anything even remotely critical of him.

    Yep.

I knew going in I wouldn't like everything Trump might do. But I knew it wouldn't be nothing like what Hillary WOULD do.

The other choice, a libertarian candidate who wasn't libertarian and would on his best day only get enough votes to tip the election to the left.

If you wanted a different candidate you should have worked harder and been more vocal in the primaries (and before).

It's funny how many will bash every single candidate and only support those who have 0 chance, then tell everyone how right they were later, even though their way had absolutely no effect on the outcome of the election and if they had gotten enough people to follow the only achievement they would be able to claim is helping get Hillary elected, another Leftist on SCOTUS, and 4 years worth of constitutional destruction.

Next time do something when it matters instead of waiting until the field is set before crying foul. The game was already over before you even started to play.

This x 1000, and he might have another court opening to fill soon. That alone justifies my vote for Trump. Had Hillary won, the country as we know it would already be finished.

Not that I don't want the other things and wouldn't like to see Trump push much harder for them, but Ryan, McConnell and the rest of the GOP in Congress needs to take lead on most of that and start sending him good bills to sign. There truly are no more excuses.

Well once again, you're just going off on a tangent. This has nothing to do with wanting a different candidate. It didn't matter if you were going to vote for Trump or not, saying anything bad about him (no matter how true it was) resulted in getting ganged up on by the Trump ass kissers who couldn't handle having their candidate criticized. Wanna vote for him to keep Hilary out of the White House? That's fine. That's not the issue here, not at all. I'm happy she's not in there too. Wish she was in the Big house, but you can't win them all. The Tumpers not being able to handle King Oompa Loompa being criticized and trying to silence that criticism is the issue.

Your choice was Trump or Hillary. Your choice was a chance to turn the country around or watch the Constitution generally and the 2nd Amendment specifically disintegrate before your eyes. I don't know what you did or didn't say during the election or what was or was not said back to you because of it, but in the heat of an existential battle that must be won in order to survive to fight another day, you don't focus on undermining your side's general.

There was and is plenty to criticize Trump about but there is also a time and place for it, and during the campaign against Hillary is not that time or place.

So just ignore all the bad? Blindly follow someone you know isn't qualified to lead a horse to a troth? Just throw away all sense of what is right and wrong, keep your mouth shut, rip your spine out, and follow the leader chosen for you? Sorry, I'm not so weak minded as to do that. If I see something wrong, I'll say it's wrong. If I think someone is a bad leader, you can be sure I'll let that thought be known. That is my right as an American and a Texan, and I'll be damned if someone is going to tell me not to do that.
