    Out here by the lake!

I have 2 different Tucker holsters for my 1911 both well made. The problem for mr is two fold. 1 I got to fat since becoming a gimp! 2 cinching down on a belt messes with my messed up back!

I really like the idea of a chest rig. This seems like a better place then a shoulder holster as well.

Anyone have one of these Tucker chest rigs? Any comments on wearing a pistol this way would be appreciated.

You don't mention how often you'd wear it, but I wouldn't think it would be comfortable for EDC.

If only for hunting or something, then it sounds good.

Hell for all I know the added weight out front + Dunlap might put additional strain on my back!
It will, but that’s based on my experience add more shit to the front of an RBAV. If I couldn’t balance it out with an assault pack adjustment, here came the pain.

I don’t think they are defining deep carry in the same way we define deep carry for concealment.

Do you intend for this to be a CC rig?

Why are you needing to tighten your belt so much that it hurts??

I’ve got 3 messed up disks and can still carry without needing to tighten stuff such that pain is the result . IWB, OWB, AIWB doesn’t matter. I don’t use stiff belts like normal though. The stiffest I have that’s comfy is a wilderness 3 stitch. Others are even less stiff. They confirm to my body well and don’t cause pain. Anything stuffer causes hot spots in me and eventual back pain. Granted I’m not running a war belt type load. It’s a G19 or 365XL with 1 spare mag.

Only chest rig I ever tried was a Galco holster for a Super Blackhawk. I preferred to position it low on the side towards the belt level so it felt more like a western cross draw. Not as comfortable to me as a strong side belt holster.
