hell, he got close to hitting the dog when he finally shot. At least it looked perty close.
Because after he got his ass kicked by the boar twice, he wished the dog bonne chance and pulled the trigger.

HAAAAAAA!!!!!! Yeah, plus it's easier AFTER you have shit your pants
LOL! Once there's shit in your pants, strict adherence to safety rules tends to seem a lot less important, that's for sure!
Sure, if you shoot them 5 times.Proof that a .223 will do the job!

good follow up 35, glad you didn't get bit.

Likewise with my .308 or 45-70.I'll say this much: I'd always heard people talk about how the ar15 was great for "follow-up shots." I never knew what a follow-up shot was with my .35 Rem. They just died.
that was 3 .223s from what I read...
you can kill an elephant with a .22 if you shoot it enough times.
Not calling bullshit on you Sage, but on a PH that claims that a .22 lr will penetrate 8-12" of bone ( on average) of an elephant's skull to make a kill shot.I read about one professional hunter killing an elephant with a .22. One shot.
His favorite caliber for elephant was 7mm Mauser though.
