My favorite tent in recent memory is a Eddie Bauer tent I bought about 10 years ago. It could be a 4 person, but it was perfect for me and the wife.
Had a bit of room for shoes and gear. Has a passthrough "tube" for you to put your shoes into the tent from the outside. It zips up. Great rain fly. I've had a bunch of tents in my lifetime, including Coleman tents. But this one is hands down my favorite.
