All the assembly crap really DOES NOT MATTER, the only part of an AR that is a gun is the lower. It's all that matters. You can buy, build, sell any other part commercially without an FFL.

Yeah, I wasn't trying to say otherwise. The only part that is "the firearm" is the lower or frame or what bears the serial number. You can make, buy, fashion, or assemble any other parts, and piece them together as you like.
