Up for sale or trade is a U.S. Model of 1917 rifle made by Eddystone (Remington), chambered in .30-06. This rifle dates to later 1918 and has the original 8-18 marked barrel.
Rifle is in excellent shape overall: bore is shiny, metal finish has very few blemishes, stock is mint, no cracks whatsoever, almost looks like it just came out of the factory. Almost all correct E marked parts except: buttplate, safety, and striker.
Shoots great as well! I have used 150gr FMJs and 168gr BTHP and gotten probably a 2-3in group, which I'm sure the rifle can do better.
