President Joe Biden is asking the head of the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) to look into whether oil companies are illegally increasing prices as consumers face high costs at the pump.

Gotta love his approach. He closes a pipeline, announces closing of another one, creates artificial inflation and then accuses manufacturers of "illegal conduct" because they are forced to raise prices.
Why is he using phrases such as "oil companies are illegally increasing prices"? Does he get to set some "legal" prices? I did not know we had full dictatorship where the overlord sets prices of our goods and services. Did I miss a memo?

I don't remember who the POTUS was at the time, but Demorats always accuse oil industry of price gouging/windfallprofits... every single time!!!

See, this is a Trump problem. He briefly pulled back the curtain and allowed us to see how good things can really be. All the things that previous administrations, both dems and repubs, said can’t be done just magically happened under Trumps watch. This, with no support from Congress. All this chit they’ve been selling us for the past 30 years, maybe more, was just snake oil.
Why is nobody questioning why this administration is selling our strategic oil reserves to China? We shipped 1.6 million barrels out in October. Aren’t those reserves supposed to be used by us in cases such as this?
