Germany: Unprecedented Series of Violence against Christian Symbols

Posted on December 7, 2013

Burned crosses, smashed statues – there have been 26 cases reported since September. The German Muensterland region faces a series of violence against Christian symbols that is without precedent in history. Having even climbed over high fences with sharp spikes, offenders acted with complete determination. National media haven’t reported about the incidents so far. Only the local television channel has made it the “topic of the day”. These attacks stand in a line with the recent Allahu akbar-graffiti at four German churches. Fortunately, police was able to get hold of the offender of the islamic graffiti, a Muslim asylum seeker from Jordan. So, unsurprisingly police in Muensterland has said that the attacks there are presumably religiously motivated. Anything more would have probably been “islamophobic”.

By way of comparison, if you remember when five pig heads were found recently on a future building site of a mosque in Leipzig? Member of Parliament Sigmar Gabriel called it an “attack on society”. Guess what he said about the 27 cases of desecration in Muensterland. You’re right – nothing.

Hell, even the satanic guys went around burning churches in Norway. People need to chill out lol.
Correction- they were black metal; not Satanic (despite what the cover of Lords of Chaos says). The attacks were motivated by music (and to a lesser extent neo-national socialist politics); not religion.

If you havent traveled or studied Western Europe you dont realize that a lot of our Christian churches would be outlawed there. Its a real mess. No actual free speech. My German friend pays taxes through the government to the Lutheran church. What kind of sermons do you expect out of that?

i am a graduate of Rice University, major in medieval history in western civilization.the rantings of one crazed monk percipitated the crusades that went on between1095-1291. .much religious ideas come down from sun worship.the egyptian god horus was born on dec. 25 ,had 12 helpers the signs of the zodiac, was born under a star same as mithra and a lot of other(pagan) gods.sound familiar?letting a human pastor or priest tell me what to think and how to act is nothing more than slavery to me.also the 10 commandments come straight out of thr egyptian book of the dead, and also the Hammurabi law code of sumeria.
science and education to me is the only answer.i could write an essay on this but dont have time.all you have to do is read the book common sense by Thomas Paine one of our greatest founding fathers who was an englishman.i am not an atheist but am completely against any and all organized religion, its full of frauds and people that will never progress because they have bought into one unflexable ideology.
