I've updated the look and the list for Texas Gun Range.

I need some help getting more ranges on the list, including all of San Antonio. I'll be calling every range on the list tomorrow to double check the info that I have. In the meantime, if you guys know of a range, please post it here so that I can add it.

There is an indoor range at the Mission de Paso campus of El Paso Community College, 10700 Gateway East, El Paso, TX 79927 (915) 831-7118. This range is part of The EPCC Law Enforcement Training Academy. I could not find the website for this one. I believe it is mainly open to LEOs and to the public if you go through their free safety course given first Saturday of each month. In Houston:

Indoor, with rentals, and while they allow rifles all rifle caliber ammo must be frangible.

Also in Houston, Top Gun Range does offer rentals, and they at one point at least rented pistol caliber FA guns out, don't know if they allowed privately owned NFA stuff but it's worth asking when you call.

This range was purchased by the city of Greenville. It is closed to the public now.

You may want to check with (Houston) American Shooting Centers. I think that they allow .50 BMG on the 300yd and longer ranges. Those ranges are self supervised. They need to be notified that you are shooting a .50 BMG, but it is allowed. It is the only weapon type that must be declared.

Dfw gun range off of mocking bird. indoor Rifle/pistol/shotgun. nfa/full auto ok (I say FA ok only because I've seen a few people with FA rifles there before). Rental guns (rental full auto uzi) and various classes.
