Someone screen capped the Brownell's twitter, that post has since been deleted, along with the FB post referencing the UPS ban.

Looks like UPS is backing away from their stance?

So what's the solution? USPS won't ship firearms and FedEx supports another AWB:

    Helotes!
Anyone yet shown that this is not a hoax? I can not find any proof that this is real.

Smells like bullshit to me. Post #28 shows the UPS website has no such restrictions.

Plus, the "sources" of this claim are questionable at best, but ironically many who scream about false media reporting are the first ones to swallow such stories without hesitation or question!

When the package is lost and not delivered to you, who actually gets reimbursed, the shipper or the receiver? I believe it is the shipper.
I would think that until you receive the item from a retailer it still technically belongs to the retailer. UPS's duty is to deliver said package to you. If you did not receive it and UPS says they did deliver it ask for the picture they take to prove it was. If they cannot prove it then its on them.

And I agree that if this is real ,and they do do it, then the lawsuits would be many.

Apparently no one. UPS “ lost” a ammo shipment sent to me about a month back. I contacted them & filed a claim.

    So far nothing from them.

The outfit I retired from had a national contract with ups. That included a clause stating that ups didn't have to pay for lost items. But then one can always ship via Fedex, or Spee Dee if you're in the Midwest, or USPS.

Last year UPS lost 3 out of 3 shipments at their Round Rock distribution center. If I have a choice I avoid them.

Trick to handling damaged or suspicious employee activity is to stop a driver and get a hub supervisors number. They will, if the evidence is provided, pull aside and interview employees. I did that because we had some issues. Surprisingly after the driver was pulled aside by the supervisor we have had no more issues.

Don’t use the site or claim process. It’s a joke. Use the hub supervisors.
