When the package is lost and not delivered to you, who actually gets reimbursed, the shipper or the receiver? I believe it is the shipper.

Apparently no one. UPS “ lost” a ammo shipment sent to me about a month back. I contacted them & filed a claim.

    So far nothing from them.

It's a fake letter or a joke...well not a joke, a false claim to enlist fear.

As far as reimbursement goes...at least with USPS there is a 3rd party insurance company. That's why USPS doesn't give a crap if you have a lost package. They don't have to pay the claim anyway. Probably similar with UPS and the others.

The driver lost it at the range.

Dont the trucks all have cameras on the roofs and in the back shooting video 24×7 while out for delivery? I see the cameras spinning on top.

Those are GPS locators to keep tabs on the truck's speed and location.

It's how you get the Amazon is 10 stops away alerts.

Funny, that's not what it says on the UPS website:

UPS does not accept firearms (including handguns) and firearm parts for shipment domestically unless (1) such shipments are in full compliance with all federal, state, and local laws, including, without limitation, age restrictions; (2) such firearms, including any partially complete, disassembled, or nonfunctional frame or receiver (as defined by 27 CFR § 478.12) have been identified and bear a serial number in a manner that complies with federal law; and (3) such firearm parts within a package cannot be assembled to form a firearm.

How times have changed. In my early 20’s I mailed out a second gen g22 to Glock because I ran some hot ass ammo. :) I told glock I don’t know what happened I was just running regular remington ball. They fixed it for free and sent it back to my residence. I shipped it off at the ups hub. I told em hey there’s a gun in here you guys need anything? Nope whatever they just threw it on the conveyor.

I used to be a member of the Washington arms collectors and at the time the state allowed no third party bg checks and everyone was safe no one lost their minds. One of my third gen glock 17’s came from a cop on duty. He was helping out at the show and rocking his new side arm and checking people’s guns in at the entrance. I was looking to trade a cheaper 1911. He was looking to trade his old 17. We talked while in line and traded on the spot and shook hands.

Society needs to stop being so gosh dang paranoid and needs to fix what’s actually broken. Gun politics solve nothing.
