40mm INERT Rifle Grenades for display - $20 Each

I have 5 inert US 40mm Rifle Grenade INERT Practice Rounds. In new condition. $20 Each which includes shipping.
These are completely inert, no powder or primers and fine for display. Used for training and function checks on the M203 grenade launcher. Filled with sand for the proper weight.

3 7/8 inches in overall length, nylon case with a blue plastic projectile. In use these would have been fired from the M203 grenade launcher that mounts below the M16 barrel of the M79 hand launcher. The base is marked M212 but the complete round was known as the 40mm M781 Practice Round

Picture shows one of these dummy grenades next to a 12 gauge shotgun round for size comparison.

Makes a fine display for the military collector.

    Five available.

This is an inert unrestricted item: ATF, 26 U.S.C. 5845; 27 CFR 479.11 State restrictions may apply

Grog used to make replicas and cutaways of various different 40 mm munition. He would list them on his website and gunbroker. I really liked the cutaways, but never enough for their price tag.

They are fun, but forth most fun you need 3-5 guys shooting at once on a vehicle. The zinc pusher easily penetrates vehicle metal. They where lucky on the one the burst out of the barrel, Cheetos dust has a way os getting into every thing & it does not brush off. You really do want a hard target to hit. A bubble level is almost needed as canting a few degrees really gets exaggerated the farther they shoot. IIRC 400 meter is maxing out the distance.
