    If the contractor stored stuff like that together and had a spontaneous combustion issue they will be paying for this. As a taxpayer that's my thought. That's basic construction 101.

    Saw that last night. From what I was reading that area is not actually the flight deck. Supposedly the flight deck is in good shape as it had been reinforced. The condition of the rest of the ship is supporting that flight deck is suspect.

    I can’t imagine that ship ever sailing again. Between actual repairs and also the time and money in ensuring the structural integrity, it will be faster and cheaper to build another.

    I’m sure this will be listed as a COVID death and funds will be printed in next stimulus.
    5 years to replace.
