After recoil my loading gate moves forward a little getting in the way when cocking/rotating the cylinder. It hits the rim of the brass. My redneck instinct is to just bevel the edge of the loading gate where the rim contacts it. Somebody talk me out of it!

I am pushing on it in this picture.

The spring keeps it closed but doesn't affect that axis. Anyway, I beveled it and it feels okay with spent shells by hand. We will find out tomorrow if it holds up.

I can work you up some more loads that have the bullets that walk out of the cases again. You'll get so frustrated that you wouldn't even worry about that.

Just put a few rounds through it today. Bending the gate spring was the solution. Now I just need to polish up the chambers so the spent cases will fall out.
