This really changes the game on venison roasts. With the OXO tenderizer we make fork tender chicken fried venison, venison piccata, and venison scallopini that rocks.

They work great. Bought one from Academy years ago. I believe it's called, Mr. Bar-B-Q Meat Tenderizer.

But now almost all the old school meat cutters are dead. Coincidence? ;)

Tried the pounder and it's useless on roast cuts. Pounding veal and chicken works because it starts tender. The OXO thrashed the Jaccard on America's Test Kitchen and hasn't disappointed us.

Well bless your heart! America's Test Kitchen is on PBS which is mostly a devilcrap propaganda station. I'm all for defunding PBS/CPB, NPR, NEA

Maybe we can find a steam powered tenderizer...

Back in the day, when I used to take a sailing ship to Africa and stayed in the great house overlooking the dusty plains, my bearers would chew my zebra meat for me between elephant hunts so I didn't have to exert myself. How wonderful the olden times were is about all I can think about now. LOL

You know ATK is not part of PBS and is an independent organization with their own management team, magazines, cookbooks, online courses, web pages and everything, right?
