I've seen lots of talk about the score sheet, but I also see a lot of online vendors selling equipped items as regular (non nfa). Did I miss some reversal? Delay? This BS is so frustrating. No doubt it's by design to be intentionally vague. Hopefully the gurus here might point me in a direction of clarification. Thanks!

The comment period is up on new ATF rules. They have signaled that, despite the recent supreme court ruling, in December they will classify pistols with braces as a SBR. This is going to open a floodgate of lawsuits of course, but it will also take a while to get the new rules overturned (the ATF is above the constitution anyway, right?).
If you were considering a braced pistol, you should probably get it done sooner than later. I wouldn't expect Texas to enforce it, but the feds will, and getting one will likely get trickier closer to December when the rush is on.
