    I'm finding out some things about this shooting that are disturbing but not surprising. By every account I've heard from those in a position to know, Sgt. Preston did what he was supposed to do on that scene. He was the only one to engage and put rounds into the suspect. Yet, his two rookies failed him when they tucked tail, ran and left him to die after the suspect started shooting.

    I'm finding out some things about this shooting that are disturbing but not surprising. By every account I've heard from those in a position to know, Sgt. Preston did what he was supposed to do on that scene. He was the only one to engage and put rounds into the suspect. Yet, his two rookies failed him when they tucked tail, ran and left him to die after the suspect started shooting.
    Time to clear out some rookie spots. Even if they are cleared, no cop in HPD will ever trust them again.
