I'm considering opening my own business this year. I have served as active duty military and as a government civilian employee. I am tired of working for someone else. My biggest obstacle is start up cost. I'm currently in contact with the SBA.gov to see options for loans for veterans to start a business. I also started a fundraiser to see if anyone wants to contribute to make my dream a reality. Please take a look at my campaign and share the link. Thanks

    Here
You were begging during the government shutdown saying that you were a government worker and wasn't being paid. Now that the shutdown is over you are begging to raise money for a business. What is next?

How about you take your begging ass somewhere else? Go stand at red lights and beg there, if you're not doing that already.

I admire your drive to work for yourself.
Raising money is a big part of many businesses.

You may want to consider courting investors versus asking for handouts.

    Just my opinion.
    Good luck!

I’m in the same boat, tired of building things for others.
I’m on the cusp of weening myself off my day job...

The only place you will find success before work is in the dictionary.

You wish to be successful but all you never seem to need is others peoples money to do so

    I'm seeing a pattern.

    Uncool.

If anyone has any advice about entrepreneurship or any talk of float tanks please post your advice and/or experiences. If not then this thread is not for you.

I had a bit of sympathy for you during the shutdown...but all of that is gone now. My best advice is to quit begging others, and if you can’t quit begging, at least have someone proofread your writing before you share it with the world.
