    Interesting concept. For a field rifle, I've always felt that the Fortner action is the way to go if you want the ultimate. However, I can see how, particularly for American shooters, this whole "fits where a 700 fits" concept has some merit.

    I hope somebody answers the OP in the affirmative. I'd love to hear from a user.

    I’m sure it’s worth it for some, as a 22 trainer. But I’m just having a hard time justifying spending that kind of money for a 22.

    I would like to know if there’s that much of a difference compared to other more affordable bolt action 22s out there.

    I'll have to go along with majormadmax. I upgraded my 10/22 enough that it's much more accurate then I am, and it's only a third of the cost.

    When you start feeling froggy about ringing steel here's a picture of the targets at BRGC set up at 500 yds. The bottom left plate is 4". Go for it.
