Walmart Pulls Gun & Ammo Displays

I had to stop at Wally World this morning. The gun cabinets were completely empty, but they did have ammo on the shelves.

Red Oak and South Dallas Walmarts had empty shelves this evening.

It’s all politics and in reality very stupid. Guns and ammunition are still not on the shelf in Gatesville. We have a near zero chance of a civil disturbance here.

I thought they had pulled guns and ammunition out of some Walmarts in Houston years ago?

I'm frequently at El Campo in Wharton county, some 70 miles down US59 SW of H-town.

The WalMart there made a lot of noise about eliminating all firearms & ammo a couple years back.

Recently I saw a few long guns and some ammo there, on display for sale.

How long ago was recently? Because this decision to remove ammo and guns from the shelves is something that was made just a few days ago.
