Want to hit the range today...

I really want to hit the range (Thunder in Porter) today but my wife wants to practice too but she decided she needs a nap right now. If she decides to wait too long, I'm going without her!

It's sort of in Porter. It's actually just down 242 east of I45. You turn south on the Conroe-Porter road.

I took my CHL class at Spring Guns and Ammo. It's a nice place. I just prefer outdoor ranges.

We had a great time at Thunder (other than the wind blowing the targets down). I had some Fiocchi low recoil 12ga 00 buck that came in last week I was dying to try. It was definitely easier on the shoulder and had very consistent patterns. I'm glad I picked it up.

We also got some practice in with the XDs at the pistol range. All in all, a good day.
