For those of you that have bought online, where did you go for your transfer? :fighting0010: with the CMMG bargin bin ar15 for 600bux i want to snag one but not sure how to exactly go about it. I don't want to get slammed with fee's and lose the "deal" ya know?

    Thanks

Yes it has to be shipped to an FFL. Look here to find one near you.

A decent price for them to do the transfer is around $20. Sometimes you can find it for a little less, some places will try to charge a lot more. Contact the FFL you want to use before you buy the gun so you can make sure the prices listed there are still current and they are still doing transfers. Then order your gun and have your FFL fax a copy of their license to CMMG if it is not already on file.

    DFW area.....Wylie.
As jasont said, research the FFL holders to find someone in the $20 or less range. I found one close to my office and use them for any incoming shipments. The price charged varies greatly.

Wetmore Shooting Sports charges $20. They're over by the airport off 281.
