It's interesting almost everyone says they don't keep safe queens. Yet when they are placed for sale, a high percentage of guns are 'new, unfired' condition.
Maybe the guns people are most likely to sell are the one's they've never fired, or only fired a few times.; maybe because they think they will have more value, they are duplicates, or they just didn't like them...

Personally, I have several in that condition.

Safe queens are a waste of a good gun. Unless it’s unsafe, guns are meant to be used.

I don’t put much stock in claimed round counts unless I know and trust the person.

My favorite are the ones claiming they have few rounds through a revolver and are the original owner but it has a prominent turn ring on it.

I don't have any that I haven't shot, but I could see if I had one that was a beautiful gun with engraving work or inlaid wood stock or something, I wouldn't shoot it. I would just admire it.

The only reason I wouldn't shoot a gun is if it's unsafe or if it is so unbelievably rare and valuable that it basically belongs in a museum. Seeing as I don't have the kind of money that would be necessary to buy something like that, that last exception is not a concern I'll ever have to worry about.

    Maverick, never say never........

I would never have believed a couple of the guns that were gifted to me..........just from being friendly polite and courteous to folks.........
