Weather stations. What do you all have at home and whats your opinion of it.

I used to have an accurate weather station, can't remember the model #, but the sensor heads kept going out so when I moved a couple years ago I never put it back up. I have had the Ambient Weather 2902C for about 5 months now.

It can upload to weather underground, pws, and ambient weather sites. You decide whether it gets shared with your neighbors or not. You can go onto Ambient weather's site and see graphs of your data for days, weeks, months, and the year. It's worked out so well, my son now has the exact same station.

I have a Vantage Vue from Davis Instruments. Has a wireless console that downloads to my PC as well as uploads to Davis server, WU or any other online server. They have an app that will pull intro from their server.

I’ve logged historical data for over 10 yrs with minor maintenance. Usually just battery replacement, clean the rain funnel/gate and sweep spider webs.

Base station sits ~200yds from the sensors. Plus can support multiple stations.

My weather system has been pretty accurate.

I walk outside, if it's cold I put on clothes.
If it's hot, I take clothes off.
If it's raining I grab soap and have a shower.
