went to Will Rogers Center and bought this Taurus PT-1911 yesterday for $490 new...always wanted a 1911 the rest include my wife's Taurus Pro Millenium 9mm, and my Mossberg Maverick 88 12 gauge

Nice! Looks like some nice features for a low price for a 1911. I'd be interested in your opinions after 1000 rds or so as to reliability and such. I've not come across someone who has actually put one of these guns through it's paces. Keep us updated on the performance after you get some downrange with it. Enjoy! Looks Good
