Just bought myself a tundra 35 for general use. It’s an expensive excuse to make your ice last longer but you can’t argue with ice lasting 10 days!
What is your experience with the products? Feel free to share pictures!

I've heard good things about the quality. However, they band-waggoned utter hate for the NRA after the Parkland shooting.

While the NRA isn't perfect, we need all the 2A support we can get. Yeti appears to have taken its position.

If the lid will be opened frequently by munchkins the ice wont last more than 24 hrs, no matter the ice chest. If its cooler out ... November-February you might get 2 days out of your ice with family & kids.

Anytime we go camping we take 3 ice chest.
1 for food, one for drinks & the 120qt with 100 lbs of ice.
Try to have drinks cool before they go into ice chest, ice last longer too.
Hot drinks will melt ice in just a few hours in an ice chest. Water will be cool but no ice.
Ice will last for 4 days in the ICE ONLY ice chest.
I just add ice in the AM & the PM as the sun goes down to the food & drink ice chest.

    Marketing genius.

As for the chests, not an fan. I have one, a Roadie 20, on the small size, yet it weighs 20lbs EMPTY. Does not keep anything cooler than my Coleman 2x the size and 1/5 the cost.

Fortunately I got mine free or I would be pissed I pissed away so much money.

I’ve got an RTIC that works well but there are cheaper alternatives that will keep ice just as long. Maybe not as durable.

If you read the fine print, most of there claims are based on having the cooler and everything in it already cold before topping off with fresh ice and starting the timer.

Personally, I wouldn’t spend that much on a cooler. But the company I work for gave me one for putting up with their shit for a long time.

Also, they’re fricken heavy. The larger sizes are pretty much unmanageable IMO. The smaller ones are heavy for their size, but at least they can still be loaded up by one person with only temporary back sprains.

I've got a yeti 35. Use it everyday. It's tough. Can't deny that.
I get ice every other day. Just like my igloo marine.

I agree with the circumstances. Left in direct sun, hell no; inside or in the shade, maybe

I was bitter at their price point for years. Finally saw a good enough sale at REI that I pulled the trigger

I believe these are the 35’s. I would have never of bought one for the price but acquired both from bonus (free!!!)

They’re the best coolers I’ve ever owned.

We’ve had ice last a week.

    I’ve an 85qt.
If kept closed and out of the sun they’ll hold ice for several days.
    Mine has survived hurricane evacs.

I was at academy before Harvey hit houston and was shocked at how people were throwing yetis in their carts, as if they didn’t cost $350...

I have a yeti water bottle too. Tends to keep ice for at least 20-24 hours. It all depends on insulation and whether it’s already chilled.
A cool coffee mug usually makes the first cup less hot...

    In the woods...
There was a well-done comparison of the Yeti on YouTube. It compared the Coleman Max and several others over the course of several days. The Coleman was about 1/4 the cost and the result was basically a tie with the Yeti as far as ice consumption. The Yeti far exceeded the Coleman in durability.
I'd still take a Yeti if it was given to me.
