I want a 74 so I can shoot 5.45. I had an ar upper but the mags were horrible. I would love a 74.

    Generally, I have stayed with all the popular calibers. 223, 308, 22, 9, 40, 45, 357, 44, 12

I have tried some oddballs but the popular calibers are that for a reason.

Interesting not everyone mentioned a shotgun caliber. They were once so ubiquitous. (i did say caliber and didnt include the word gauge)

Im definitely of the less is more philosophy.

What caliber did you once love or thought you would but now dont?

Join me in raising $1000 for Abbott Abbott for governor donation challenge: $1000 by 1/24

I have 12 (gauge) listed in mine........

I tried to get into 30-30, 30.06, 17HMR and 45-70 but they didn't stick. Loved them at the time but now, meh.

Rifles: Anything less than a .458 is effeminate and offensive
Pistols: if its not .45 or up - embarrassing...
    Shotguns- 10 or less
    Bigger is better baby....
