    Generally, I have stayed with all the popular calibers. 223, 308, 22, 9, 40, 45, 357, 44, 12

I have tried some oddballs but the popular calibers are that for a reason.

Interesting not everyone mentioned a shotgun caliber. They were once so ubiquitous. (i did say caliber and didnt include the word gauge)

Im definitely of the less is more philosophy.

What caliber did you once love or thought you would but now dont?

I have 12 (gauge) listed in mine........

I tried to get into 30-30, 30.06, 17HMR and 45-70 but they didn't stick. Loved them at the time but now, meh.

Rifles: Anything less than a .458 is effeminate and offensive
Pistols: if its not .45 or up - embarrassing...
    Shotguns- 10 or less
    Bigger is better baby....

    That place east of Waco....
I've stayed with .38SPL & .357MAG since I began shooting. Recently traded off my 12ga. for .410 in a HD/fun gun. And I've gotten out of 9mm d/t the ammo shortage. I'm currently deciding if I want to get into .40S&W (availability) or .380ACP (concealibility)...

I've been moving to 9mm for my main pistol caliber for the last 2 years. Lately I'm starting to think I should start moving to 40 as it's has been easier to find cheaper ammo for practice lately.

    doesn't mean I don't still have too many others like .380, 9mm, 7mm mag, 8mm, .44mag, etc.

    .22lr, .38/.357, .40S&W, .308, 12g. I also have a couple of .30WCF & a .30-06. And may have a .30 carbine coming soon. Got away from .380 & 9mm. SWSBO uses the same except a 20g instead of 12g.

I shoot for fun and variety right now, so im adding more and more, and will trim down once I figure out what I like. Plan on adding 500 Mag, .308, 762x39, .380, 45acp and whatever additional calibers my milsurp purchases require

Shotguns started with a 20gauge > 12gauge >16gauge. These days, I pretty much shoot 16's for everything I care to.

    Started .22LR > .270 > .284 > 30-06 > .300winmag > .308 > .223 - Settled into .223, 30-06, and .308, though I still shoot the .300winmag at the 1000 yard range. I reload everything but the .270 and .22LR. (.270 is for sale)

    Pistols started .22LR, .25acp, .32acp, .357mag, .38spl / 9mm, .40, .41mag, .44mag, .45acp - These days, I shoot 9mm for target, .40 and .45 for EDC, and .41/.44mag for hunting. I still reload for most of these.. don't have a .25 anymore though.
