Different method. I used 2 different ones before and got the same but did it this way (the way I normally do it) at got 8 thou shorter.

It looks like I do it about the same as you. I tried the Stoney Point tool but I can't get consistent numbers that way. It relies too much on feel I think.

Cabela's didn't have blue dot, or 2400, or even AA9. Walmart and academy only sell hodgdon.

I have some AA7 and tons of the fake AA5. I thought about using one of those but they just aren't great for the 357 and no data for the 454. Longshot has data for them but it's about 25% less power than the h110 or 2400 is.

I have an unopened can of Blue Dot. What part of the world are you in?

Edit - Just saw you are near SA.

Any thoughts on True Blue? A buddy of mine is getting into reloading(we think)so I was going to pick up something new(for me, it's all new to him!)that we can split and he can learn about working up a load.

    Thanks

This week I ran my cast 45s through one of the pro1000s. I ran out of bullets after 1015. I still have a bunch more brass so I started casting. Went to powder coat today but my damn powder got wet. It's all toast.

Yesterday I finished setting up a pro1000 for 223. I picked up an auto drum powder measure for it and got it dialed in so I'm gonna start cranking those guys out until I run out of powder. Then I suppose I'll start some more precise 7-08 loads to test out.

Friend of mine bought a 44 level gun. He said it kicked too much. I loaded him some plated over w231. They were only about 1100fps.

They are for my suppressed Handi rifle. 300gn SP under 7.9gn of CFE Pistol. I did some testing with special cases too but erred on the side of the longer case to avoid a short carbon ring. I don't know if that's really a thing but I have read of people having trouble after running a lot of special cases in magnum pistols.
