What do you use to expand the neck? Just the Lee universal neck expander?

The expander ball doesn't flair the neck. Just makes it straight after the resize die makes it too tight. Chamfer helps with flat base bullets. Knife edge can be a bad thing if you go to far, but I have loaded lots of rounds with knife edge, never had a problem.

The powder through expanding die is what I use. The flare is adjusted by the depth of the die. You kind of have to play with it until you are happy.

Well I happened into a box of Berry's fmj-bt 224 bullets today. Anyone ever used those before? I didn't know Betty's made 224 bullets. It says they're fmj as well so they should be good for full velocity. What do you guys think about them?

Gonna load up a couple hundred of these to play with this weekend. Taking Twerpy (my daughter) to the Farm. Gonna work on the Bronco, and do some shooting.
