I've looked at it but not sure its worthwhile with the big redding and Pacific being useful. I love how it kicks primers out in a more consistent manner than most out the bottom of the ram. The Redding will but reall needs a tube too do it better.

I am sold on 3d printed primer catchers.

Night and day difference on my RCBS II.

    Worth looking in to.

    Loadertools.com has good stuff.

I've looked at most and the only press that I run that it would be applicable on is the old Pacific (hornady) and it will require dumping every so often. This a2 dumps them perfectly into a 5 gal bucket with no added parts (ie trays or tubes) with ease. It's just basically an over built press and even makes the Redding t7 seem super lightweight.

I did 100 rounds of 300 Blackout Friday. Function tested my new pistol on Saturday. Runs like a violated ape. Just basic 150 gr FMJ I had on hand.

If my order from NOE ever gets here I'll be loading up some of those brutal 123 gr hollow points I've cast as well as some of the 235 gr hollow points I have cast.

The were new cases from Hornady and I found out they shorted me one case from the factory. So I only 49 instead of 50. I also learned I need a trimming die made for the caliber I’m trimming

For low volume there nothing wrong with the Lee case length gauge paired with the Lee trimmer and lock stud.

Now when you get to doing 1000 at a time you'll want something easier. Im a big fan of the worlds cheapest trimmer. It only trims so you'll still need a deburring/chamfer tool but they're quick and cheap.

Hornady shorted me one in two boxes in a row years back.

When I need good brass now my go to is Lapua and they seem to always throw an extra in.

I bought some bulk starline from arm or Ally and they were about 3% high. Good prices, too.

Arm or Ally was cheaper. They buy bulk from starline and then repackage it themselves. I was able to get 100 cases on sale for 52 cents each delivered where starlines best deal was buying 1000 cases for 60 cents each. The least amount starline had for the bushmaster was 250 and I did t want that many.

Being straight walled brass, I've heard I can reload it until I lose it. So here's hoping! Even still, if I get only 1 load out of it then it's still cheaper than buying factory ammo.

Got the 223 base sizing up and running

    20200302_145531.jpg

Hits the solid of the case nicely and will make the die sizing much smoother.

had a hiccup on some 458 rounds this past weekend. Ran a few through the crimper again (after I adjusted it). Planning to try them out before I do all 150 of them.

I tried REALLY hard to put a universal decapping pin through the first knuckle of my left index finger. I also managed to decap around 1500 rounds of 300 Blackout brass.

I also sized 15 lbs of bullets for the 300 Blackout.

I went out yesterday and cleaned up the bench a bit then put my Dillon Super Swage on the new Inline Fab quick change plate and starting swaging all my 300 Blackout brass.

I have to say the Dillon swager is easier to use than the RCBS bench mount swager.

Reloaded my first rounds ever today.
38 special using the hp-38 powder with 125gr bullets using the Lee 4stage turret.
I measured every round just to make sure and I had in between 4 and 4.4 grains of powder.
I think I set them good and also the crimp didn't turn out to bad.
    :)
Does the load look good? I don't want to damage my gun.
