Worked on filling up my peanut butter pretzel jug with sized 9mm brass. Waiting patiently for my 9mm bullets to show up from RMR Bullets.

Used the .45 ACP size/deprimer to punch out some stubborn crimped primers that my Lee 9mm die couldn't handle.

Weird. My Lee 9mm die hasn't yet met a crimped primer it won't push out with a smile on it's face. Maybe you're doing it wrong? Make sure you crank down the collet on top of the die that hold the decapper.

Maybe I am. I had it torqued "considerably" as Lee says to do but it may not have been enough still. I decided to cheat instead of keep pushing it.

No pics, but found a set of 300 blackout dies at Academy and picked up a couple pounds of A1680. Now I just need to figure out which .30 bullet will expand when shot sub out of the 300bo. Anyone having any luck?

I looked up some loads using IMR 4895 for 223. I have pounds of it for 308, so it would be nice to have more uses for it. Looks like I won't be able to use it for the light fast 35-40 gr bullets though.

I've heard that some of the milled solid copper bullets are great for that. But not super cheap, and often not as heavy as lead bearing bullets.

    4895 works good in 556,
That was the first powder I used for 556 in 1979, worked great in Ar15 and bolt gun.

Took an inventory of the supplies I (don't) have.

Pulled out my books and notes from a reloading class I took in Nov. 2012 while still living in Kommiefornistan.

I'm good for reloading .223... good for powder and primers on pistol but... no dies and no boolits for pistols (would only reload 9mm and 40S&W).

Not a great time to be in need for pistol reloading... snooze/lose!

My youngest daughter still lives out there in lakeside by the rodeo!

I'm now in Godley (just moved here from Forney). I absolutely LOVE it here. What about you?
