Got notified this morning that my Hornady Lock n Load Ammo Plant shipped and will arrive tomorrow.
Now if there was only some place I could find small pistol primers...

Good unit, you'll like it. Just wished it ran a little faster.
I have a cheap RCBS trickler. Dosent run smooth anymore.

I was just looking at the quick trickler.

Are you trickling the whole charge? Or throwing the bulk and trickling just a bit?

I was thinking an appropriate sized lee scoop and a trickle would be really quick with that unit.

Holy smokes, just looked up the sticker price on that thing.

Makes my Dillon 550 look like a single stage press.

I was joking that with ammo prices the way they are now ill finally return my initial investment in the Dillon.

I originally ordered a Lee progressive, but it wouldn't have arrived for 6 weeks, so this is what I could find.

Id dosent look like you settled. Looks like tou were forced to upgrade. I doubt you will regret it.

I used to own a Dillon square deal, sold it to get a 550. I really miss the auto index.

Finished sizing a 3 gallon bucket that was about 2 gallons full of 223 brass. I sort my brass by manufacturer, this is all of the PMC.

Also finished tumbling all of my 9mm brass , filled a 3 gallon bucket.

Ill do a batch trim on the 223 next.

My brother sent me a box of range brass. Most looked like it had been on the ground a while to the point I tried a magnet thinking it was steel cases.

Perfect candidates for wet tumbling and man it worked.

Put together an AR and gave it to my wife's dad. He's got lymphoma and is pretty lethargic so hoping it'll give him a reason to get up and do something with me. Put together a few 450 bushmaster and 7-08 rounds to take him to the range tomorrow to test out his new rifle. Also have some 7.62x54r and some 45gap to try out in a buddy's guns. I'm on the fence about the gap.

Looks pretty now. (except for the one that looks like it was stepped on).
I culled a bunch that were beyond reasonable repair.

The one you see may just be an optical illusion but there are a bunch I am hoping the sizing die will fix. Not horrible but may not go into the die and not worth the effort to mess with.

You're right, it as an optical illusion, I just looked at the picture again, and reexamined it, and found how I thought one was squashed but really isn't.

This sounds like what I have. Sealed bags of 223, 308, 9, 40 & 45 but unknown weights.

    This is my new project.
I did find a bag of 100 projectiles unknown to me. Calipers and scale told me they were 6.5mm and 140 grain.

Then i found a box of 500 hornady amax split with 4 bags of 100. Not opened just split and the bag fell out.

mad88, is the SDB have auto advance? I have a couple buddies that have a 550 and a 650 and wish they only had two 550s.
The square deal does have auto advance, i sold it because it dosent take standard reloading dies and is designed for pistol calibers only.

I used it to crank out 45acp cheap and quick, but wanted the option to do rifle calibers, and to use regular dies.
